This is Me – My Other Life as a Photographer is a deeply personal story about rejuvenation, and the toll – both positive and negative – that pursuing our passion can take.
When not shooting for the likes of Pentax, Primus, Zeiss, and National Geographic, German photographer Lars Schneider can be found adventuring in the kind of remote locations that first inspired his love for photography. It is during this time that he refuels, and temporarily discards the corporate element of his work, including budgetary and time concerns, in order to fully embrace artistry and exploration.
Over the years, Schneider’s life has taken many turns, both personally and professionally, but he keeps the purpose behind his journeys into the wilderness at the forefront of his mind:
“I need it to be who I am”.
