The University of Michigan have stirred up a fantastic concept designed to inspire innovation within the college’s faculty.
Implemented in October of 2015, Innovate Brew pairs staff with others out of their field of expertise for a 30-minute conversation over coffee. The intention is not only help percolateĀ ideas, but to refresh and invigorateĀ scholars involved in grant processors by discovering what has worked for their peers.
While the system is designed for research-active teachers, it has great potential for all kinds of professionals whose busy work lives don’t otherwise allow for opportunities to discuss their processes with successful, like-minded individuals.
