In Space We Trust is an interactable art project dedicated to those who have committed their lives to the exploration of our universe.
The project, created through the Russian Space Agency RosCosmos, celebrates the major steps in mankind’s quest to understand what lies beyond our planet; from the bitter days of the Cold War, when the world’s superpowers vied to be the first to put man on the moon, to our modern day endeavours to chart the furthest reaches of the solar system.
Beautifully presented through illustrations, animations, and video – all accompanied by a suitably haunting, ethereal score – In Space We Trust is intricate, albeit brief; a fact we can blame on the steady withdrawal of space program funding that has occurred since the early 90s.
The piece may take some time to load if your computer has an average CPU, but it’s certainly worth the wait.
