Over the last few years, we’ve made a pretty good name for ourselves as sales consultants. We’ve had the opportunity to coach some pretty impressive business and present from some pretty impressive stages.

We got good at sales coaching by getting good at sales.

At $2Million a year, we’re starting to sneak over the “small” business category and into the “medium” business category – and we’ve completely bootstrapped. The only way we’ve ever raised funds in our business has been by selling our products, events and services – no grants, no venture capital.

Just our list, our wits and a phone.

Our clients get pretty amazing results, too. It might surprise you to learn that every TV show – every movie – every stage play you’ve ever loved, was completely scripted. Yes, there’s room for the magic of improve inside of them. But for the show to work, the script has to stay on track.

A big issue we’ve found, though, is that when we send people our script, it typically takes them a few hours to read it, and then a few more to get their heads around customising it. The process can be a bit overwhelming

That’s why we developed Sword of Sales.  Remember those old text-based video games from the 1980s? I loved those things! I’d go walking through the caves, killing Orcs … well, about a year ago I decided it would be awesome if we created a text based game that would train people in sales.

And so Sword of Sales was born.  At the end of approximately 30 minutes of game play, you’ll receive an email with the sales script. And the answers you’ve given throughout the game will be incorporated in, so that the script is completely customized for your product and / or service.

We argued for weeks over what to charge for it.

But in the end, we decided to make it FREE.
