We take what we have for granted, we all know that to be true. But take a look around you, have you ever considered that every single little thing was invented by someone? Without invention and creativity you would be sitting under a tree looking up at the scraggly fruit wondering how to reach it.
So, take a look around you with fresh eyes. Every SINGLE thing was thought up and produced by someone. The mouse in your hand, the coffee cup on your desk, the cork in your wine bottle, the blue tac on the wall, the undies on your butt. Everything!
It’s only when you take a quick inventory around your house that you start realising just how awesome (and terrifying) humanity is. Our collective creativity is astounding, the number of usable ideas and inventions must run in the multiple billions!
And so much of this ‘stuff’ seems unimportant until you take it away (personally I’d really miss undies, oh, and sour cream… but not together at the same time).
